Alcohol-Free Antiseptic Wipes (BZK)

Single-use wipes soaked in benzalkonium chloride, an antiseptic with no alcohol in it. Sold as first-aid wipes.

  • Benzalkonium chloride
  • No alcohol
  • Individually wrapped

Why you’d want it: The gentle option for skin that alcohol dries out, and for wiping hands and surfaces without the smell. Not for the vial stopper — that still wants alcohol.

Picking tip: Check the label says benzalkonium chloride and nothing about alcohol — plenty of “antiseptic wipes” are alcohol under another name. These are for skin; the rubber stopper on a vial should still get an alcohol pad, because BZK doesn't dry off cleanly.
