Sterile Gauze Pads (4×4 in)

The bigger gauze square — 4 inches (10 cm). For a spill, a bleed that won't stop with a small pad, or lining a tray.

Why you’d want it: The 2 × 2 pad is right for the site; the 4 × 4 is right for everything else. Cheap to keep a box of both.

Picking tip: Individually wrapped and sterile, same rule as the small ones. Non-woven is softer and sheds less than woven cotton gauze. Twelve-ply is plenty; the thin four-ply ones soak through instantly.
