Why you’d want it: Pulling 3 mL through an insulin syringe takes forever. A 10 mL syringe with a drawing needle does it in one go.

Picking tip: Individually wrapped and marked sterile — the bulk 'craft' packs aren't. Luer-lock, not slip-tip, so the drawing needle can't pop off under pressure. A 20-pack lasts most people a year.
