Why you’d want it: Drawing a small dose while holding vial and syringe in mid-air is where bubbles and shaky readings come from. Resting both fixes most of it.

Picking tip: Check the photos show a 10 mL vial and an insulin syringe in it — the stands are cut for those sizes and a 3 mL vial may need the smaller insert. It is a convenience, not a requirement; people with shaky hands or poor eyesight get the most from it.
