The flat cotton discs sold for make-up removal. Pressed onto the pump dispenser, one becomes a fresh alcohol wipe.

Why you’d want it: With the dispenser and the alcohol bottle, this is the third part of the cheap-wipes setup. A bag of a hundred is a couple of dollars.

Picking tip: Plain pressed cotton, not the quilted 'exfoliating' kind, which sheds. These are for surfaces and skin; for the rubber stopper a sealed alcohol pad is still cleaner, because it was sterile when it was sealed.
