Push-Down Alcohol Dispenser

A pump bottle you press a gauze square or cotton pad onto; one push wets the pad from below. Fill it with 70% alcohol.

Why you’d want it: Cheaper than pads if you clean a lot of surfaces, and no torn sachets. One hand, one press, a wet pad.

Picking tip: These are sold for nail polish remover and they're the same thing: a push-down pump with a lock. Fill with 70% isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacy — not the 99%, which evaporates before it has done anything. For the vial stopper itself, a sealed alcohol pad is still the tidier choice.
