Exercise Mat (thick, non-slip)

A 10–13 mm foam mat, longer and thicker than a yoga mat, with a strap. Thick enough to kneel and lie on, grippy enough for a kettlebell to sit on without marking the floor.

  • 10–13 mm thick
  • Non-slip both sides
  • Carry strap

What it’s for

The kettlebell, the roller and half the band moves happen on the floor. A mat is what stops the floor from being the reason you skip it.

What to check in the listing

Thick (10 mm and up) for floor work and rolling; the thin 4 mm yoga mats are for balance, not comfort. Unroll it and leave it flat for a day when it arrives; the curl goes away. Wipe it with a damp cloth, never a soak, and store it rolled with the top side out so the edges lie flat.

Space neededA mat's worth of floorSpace needed is how much floor it takes to use: none at all, a mat's worth, a corner that stays clear, or a room.

PriceMid-rangePrice tier is the rough position within its category, not a live price: budget is the cheapest sensible option, premium costs more for a reason the page explains.
