Why you’d want it: Smaller meals, made once, portioned out — the container is what makes 'eat a bit less' a thing that happens rather than a plan. Glass because plastic stains and warps.

Picking tip: Single-compartment 30 oz (about 900 ml) is the most useful size; the divided ones look clever and hold less. Check the lids are the snap-lock kind with a silicone seal, and that the set says oven-safe if you want to reheat in them. Lids are never oven-safe.
